Dr. Sack is Editor since 2010. He lectures and publishes internationally about sustainability for the “built environment”. He chaired the Florida Medical Association’s Environment & Health Section for ten years, chaired the Jacksonville Environmental Protection Board, and chaired the Climate Change Advisory Group for the Florida Legislature. He has been a member of the Florida Energy Commission and the JEA Clean Power Advisory Group. He has authored more than twenty policy positions related to environmental sustainability that have been adopted by the Florida Medical Association, the American Medical Association and other health professional societies. He practices gastroenterology at “We Care at Borland Groover”, a free clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, USA.
Joy Lloyd-Montgomery, Associate Editor
Ms. Lloyd-Montgomery manages communications and media outreach for My Green Doctor. Her commitment to My Green Doctor results from her belief that encouraging environmental sustainability and community education helps to optimize health outcomes, reduces health disparities, and fosters environmental justice. Ms. Lloyd-Montgomery is studying for her Master’s Degree in Public Health at the Milken Institute School of Public Health at George Washington University, and serves as a Research Project Coordinator/Wellness Specialist at the University Of Maryland School of Medicine.
Adelaide “Addie” Masterson, Assistant Editor (Summer)
Ms. Masterson is an undergraduate student at the University of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia, USA. She is studying Biology and Healthcare Studies with a concentration in Neuroscience and a minor in Spanish. As Assistant Editor, she hopes to pursue her passion for climate change initiatives and gain experience in climate change communication. She works also as a data analyst and laboratory assistant for a biotechnology firm focusing on cancer treatment and drug development.
